In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Rami F. Odeh. Rami is the founder of FormWell Personal Fitness Training, a personal training company located in Sandy Springs, GA. Founded in 1999, in the over 20 years Rami ran and owned the business, FormWell helped over 5000 clients achieve their exercise and weight loss goals. Rami sold this business in 2019 to pursue his next dream career: motivational speaking, writing and coaching.
Rami has dual master’s degrees, one in industrial psychology and the other in exercise physiology and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a health and fitness specialist. He also worked for 11 years for Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA as an exercise physiologist in the Outpatient Weight Reduction Clinic and the Diabetes Education Department.
He has been a motivational speaker, personal trainer, and nutritional coach in various gyms and client’s homes in the Southeast since 1992 and has hands-on experience with over 1000 clients. Rami also does various health-related presentations and health fairs for many corporations and organizations.
Rami is also an amateur triathlete, obstacle course racer, and trail runner, having completed over 300 running races, obstacle course races, and multisport events (including Ironman Florida in 1999, multiple 1/2 Ironmans and multiple on-and-off-road marathons) since 1992. His current challenge is running off-road ultra-marathons; he finished his first in 2009, completed a 12-hour, 53-mile off-road run in early 2011 and finished his first 100 mile run in late 2012 (in 26 hours and 52 minutes). His current life mission is to positively effect the lives of as many people he can, using speaking, coaching and his three volumes of published books: Quiet the Noise: A Trail Runners Path to Hearing God.

In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Wayne Altman. Wayne is an entrepreneur and founder of Melody Clouds. After suffering from tinnitus and looking for a relief to all the noise he kept experiencing as a result of this illness, Wayne became aware of binaural beats in 2018.
He started listening to different types of sounds, and music and after some time he noticed that the only time he does not experience extreme ringing in both ears is when he can listen to various music selections and give himself a respite from the noise. He joined several different subscription sites that have become popular, but none of them were worth the money to him. Either they were far too expensive or had sparse content. He had to try to figure out something better.
He finally found the way to help anyone who has the same condition by collecting tracks from producers all over the world in dozens of different styles to suit any taste in music. Finding these amazing results made him think about introducing more beats to people who want to have a better focus, who wants to take a break from the day to day rush and just feel relaxed and calm to enjoy the present moment, for all those parents out there trying to calm their kids from being upset or cranky, people who love to meditate and even for the ones who love reading and being read to, and more. In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to CJ Lee. He grew up in Bellevue, WA just outside of Seattle and moved to Provo, UT when he was 16. After finishing high school, he attended Brigham Young University (BYU) while being a member of the men’s golf team. After graduating in 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Economics, he actually turned professional in golf that summer.
For the next 2 years, he played over in Asia and the Mini-Tour Circuits in the States. In March of 2020, he had to come home after being in Thailand for a month and the Philippines for a couple weeks due to the COVID pandemic shutting down the world. Later that year, he made the decision to pursue and try to build a company with an idea he had in college. That idea would be Stutor. He promised himself he would give himself 12 months to see if he could build and get traction, if he didn’t he would continue to pursue professional golf. After meeting his two Co-Founders, Tyler Crawford and Joel Joseph they are poised for launch to the public in the Fall of 2022’ and could not be more excited to help change the world of Academia.

After cutting her teeth in asset management, Kaitlyn spent the majority of her career at UBS Financial Services, where she developed more than 300 financial plans for clients with assets ranging from $500,000 to $1 billion. Subsequently, she became an advisor on a private wealth management team that managed over $600 million for a handful of families
Despite her success at UBS, Kaitlyn saw a gap in the market she felt compelled to address: business owners, particularly women, needed holistic support earlier in their entrepreneurial journeys to optimize wealth creation. Theory Planning Partners is pioneering this space with a focus on getting more wealth into the hands of women.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn is a spiritual seeker ravenous to understand why we are here and how to forge a meaningful life. In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Hermann Simon . Hermann Simon, PhD., is a world-renowned management thinker, consultant, pricing expert, entrepreneur and leading authority on the “hidden champions” business model. He is the founder and honorary chairman of Simon-Kucher & Partners, the world’s leading price consultancy with over 1,700 employees and 42 offices worldwide. Simon is the author of 40 books in 30 different languages, including worldwide bestseller Hidden Champions, first published by Harvard Business School in 1996.
Since Simon’s introduction of the term “Hidden Champion'' almost thirty years ago, business leaders have been fascinated with these 3,400 successful companies – roughly half of which are German – who, despite being midsize companies, often have global market shares of over 50 percent. These hidden champions are behind Germany's success in exports and a differentiator in how business is done in the United States. Simon’s recent work focuses on how the United States and other countries can learn from Germany’s hidden champions.
Simon continues to bring value to the marketing world through his writing, recentling publishing True Profit!: No Company Ever Went Broke Turning a Profit (Springer, July 2021). In True Profit! Simon brings clarity to the jungle of profits and balance sheets, shedding light on the performance of numerous companies and industries in an international comparison. He discusses the dilemma of why more than 80% of companies in the U.S. that have gone public have never turned a profit, and questions allegations of corporate greed – arguing that profit-making is ethical if achieved in a decent way.
Recently, Simon also released an autobiography, Many Worlds, One Life: A Remarkable Journey from Farmhouse to the Global Stage (Springer, March 2021), which highlights the influences on his remarkable journey from humble origins on a German farm to advising and sharing the stage with global leaders in industry, academia and politics. Many Worlds, One Life reveals unique insights into the man himself and the origins of his ideas on successful leadership and business strategy. Many Worlds, One Life has been published in English, German, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Simon’s upcoming book, Hidden Champions in the Chinese Century: Ascent and Transformation (Springer, April 2022), is an in-depth exploration of the ever-changing operating conditions, as well as the greater uncertainty and volatility, that will define global business over the next 10 years—with a particular focus on China’s impact. Whether a company is a “Hidden Champion” or aspires to be one, this newest release from Simon provides essential food for thought as executives and managers chart their course into the future.
Before committing himself to management consulting, Simon was a professor of business administration and marketing at the Universities of Mainz and Bielefeld. During his academic career, he was a visiting professor at Harvard Business School, Stanford University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as INSEAD, London Business School and Keio University in Tokyo. Simon is an honorary professor at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, and the “Hermann Simon Business School” in China is named after him.
