Mandi Graziano - Author-Sales & Business Coach-Public Speaker

In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Mandi Graziano. Mandi Graziano has been in the hospitality business since 1998. She is Vice President of Global Accounts for HPN Global where she finds hotels and venues & negotiates pricing/contracts for her client’s conferences all over the world. Here she has earned the awards of: Chairman’s Club, President’s Club and Top Producer. While on the hotel side Mandi worked in leadership roles in sales, marketing and operations for Marriott, Starwood, Hard Rock Hotels and Caesars Entertainment. While working for hotels she has been awarded Top Producer, Salesperson of the Year, Best Site Inspection of the Year and Sales Strategist Award in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2008. Mandi is currently an instructor at San Diego State University Hospitality & Tourism Management program teaching Site Inspection & Contract Negotiation class.

Darby Vannier - Author of The Indispensable Leader

In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Darby Vannier. Darby has over 20 years of experience in leadership development and strategic consulting. He has led effective teams of more than a 100 employees, coached others into their own leadership positions, and created stability during challenging organizational transitions. His career has been built on the philosophy that developing the right people is the key to success.
 
Darby started his career as an HR and operations manager for a 22-screen AMC movie theater, where he hired, trained, and managed a team of over one hundred employees, and as branch manager of a FedEx Office store, where he coached half of his team into their own leadership positions. These positions readied him to fulfill the role of executive director and CEO of the Alpaca Owners Association, an international livestock association. There, he built the foundational systems, processes, and team in a newly opened corporate office, fostering the company and industry through difficult transitions, including a long-term rebranding program and an organizational merger. Combining the diverse knowledge and experience gained through these positions, he now serves on the leadership team of highly successful leadership development organization, Leadership Resources.
 
After starting his first venture by mowing lawns in first grade, Darby discovered his passion for business. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nebraska Wesleyan University and later earned his master of business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Bew White - Author & Entrepreneur

In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Bew White lll. Bew, is Chairman of the Board of Gabriella White and it’s brands, Summer Classics, Gabby and Wendy Jane. In 2013 he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Society of International Business Fellows and in 2021 Bew White received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Casual Furnishings Association. He is also the subject of the well-received biography A Summer Classic: The Bew White Story by Christopher Taunton.
 
Bew graduated from Auburn University in 1972 with a degree in textile engineering. The phrase “outdoor living” had hardly been coined, as outdoor furniture was simply known as a table and chairs you would find on a basic patio deck.
 
At just 28 years old, Mr. White left his job at his family-owned business, Avondale Mills, and started a sales representative company in 1978 called Vista Corporation, specializing in selling outdoor furniture. In 1987, Bew started multiple companies in an effort to expand from selling on the road to building a national brand. One of those companies was Summer Classics, which was created around Bew’s thought of designing and manufacturing products that he would want for his own backyard. With a business model based on creating products that were consumer driven, would stand the test of time, and would not go out of style, Summer Classics officially took off in 1987.

Dave Fink - CEO of Postie

In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Dave Fink. David thinks the best kept secret in marketing is hiding where you least expect it — your mailbox. Over a 20-year career he’s generated hundreds of millions of dollars in ad revenue, powered viral sensations like Dollar Shave Club, and helped launch celebrity startups for Jessica Simpson, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and Kate Bosworth. Now as founder and CEO of Postie, he’s out to reinvent direct mail marketing for a digital world.
 
Dave’s first encounter with the awesome potential of digital marketing came during the dotcom boom of the late 90’s. He was working for a web 1.0 marketing company, watching his clients at legacy giants like Procter & Gamble and Clorox toiling away at the same cramped desks year after year. Meanwhile, his contacts at digitally-savvy tech startups were busy trading in their Hyundais for Ferraris. Something big was happening, and he was determined to be a part of it.

Nakada Brown - Health / Wellness Coach & Author
